God Is My Shepherd

God Is My Shepherd is Bumblebee's first Lesson in Faith. I have started doing very short, fun Bible lessons with her to begin her study in faith.

 
I did some research, but didn't really fond anything that completely fit what I wanted. I did find a site, Ministry-To-Children, which has some lesson ideas that appealed to me. I just had to tweak them a bit to fit our needs.
 
For our first lesson, we did God Is My Shepherd. I broke it down into three lessons.

1. Day One: I told her, "God is my shepherd." Then I told her what a shepherd is and showed her a picture of a shepherd.
2. Day Two: We read Psalm 23. I again said, "God is my shepherd" and showed her a picture of a shepherd.
3. Day Three: We read John 10. I again said, "God is my shepherd" and showed her a picture of a shepherd.

 
Bumblebee loved looking at the picture and listening to Psalm 23.

 
I'm really just trying to introduce her to scripture. She loves being read to, and looking at pictures. She recognizes differences in color and what is supposed to be the focus of the scene. It's amazing to see! Especially when it has to do with the scripture.
