Look Up

I was recently challenged by Katie Bennett of Embracing A Simpler Life to look up and embrace the awe and wonder of the vastness of God and His creation. This resonated with me in that we have been studying the Holy Spirit at church over the last few months, and will focus on the Holy Spirit for our adult Bible school at the beginning of August. As part of this series, we were challenged to think of how the Holy Spirit is like a cloud.

Yesterday, as part of our anniversary celebration, Hubby and I took Bumblebee up to the reservoir. We wanted to spend some tome together as a family and enjoy the outdoors before it got too hot. While there, I took these pictures of the beautiful clouds on the sky. Looking at them through the lens of my camera really kind of drove home the vastness of the sky. A sky our Lord God made.

 

"Look up at the heavens and see; gaze at the clouds so high above you." ~ Job 35:5

"Sing to God, sing in praise of his name, extol him who rides on the clouds; rejoice before him - his name is the Lord." ~ Psalm 68:4

"He covers the sky with clouds; he supplies the earth with rain and makes grass grow on the hills." ~ Psalm 147:8
